The Oak Centre for Children & Young People at The Royal Marsden sees almost 900 inpatients and more than 20,000 day and outpatient visits every year.
The centre has a team of play specialists who provide therapeutic play to help support children in preparation for procedures and in adjusting to the hospital surroundings.
The teddies will be used in this way for younger patients.
Play specialists also provide fund activities to engage children and young people during their time in hospital.
They are planning to host a teddy bears picnic in September, so the bears will also welcome extra guests!
