Sofia was given her Brave Bear when she was just 2 years old from the Royal Surrey Hospital.
Sofia was hit by a car and when she arrived in A&E and received it
It gave her great comfort and Brave Bear stayed with us throughout her hospital stay and further treatment. Grace received her bear from the Royal Surrey when she broke her arm in 2021.
Grace has autism and her bear helped to calm her down and distract her during a stressful time.
They both still have them today.
This is the great work that local Freemasons do in there community by funding and distributing these bears to all A&E units in Surrey.
